Over the past few years, I’ve been able to use my kitchen skills to win some pretty great prizes. I won a trip for two to Toronto with my Pumpkin Cheesecake, and last year I won a trip to the first Food Bloggers of Canada conference with my Sour Cream Sugar Cookies. I enjoy entering cooking contests – it allows you to put your thinking cap on and get creative in the kitchen.  It’s also a chance for you to showcase your abilities, even if are you “just” a home cook (like me). And when you win – it’s pretty awesome!

As a Chicken Farmers of Canada brand ambassador, I am excited to be able to share a fantastic opportunity with you.

The Great Canadian Chicken Challenge.

Great Canadian #ChickenChallenge Contest

Who can enter? Open to Canadian residents who are the age of majority in the province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

What does the contest consist of? You are to create a unique recipe using all 4 of the required ingredients: chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in, skinless or skin-on), Canadian gingerale, Quinoa, and Mango.

When is the challenge: The Great Canadian Chicken Challenge runs from today, April 24, 2014 to May 29, 2014 at 11:59pm ET.

Where can you enter? You can enter the Great Canadian Chicken Challenge on Canadian Chicken’s Facebook page, just click HERE to begin.
