I can’t believe we’ve zoomed through another year. 2014 is nearly in the books, and 2015 is peeking around the corner. Funny, 20 years ago if I thought of 2015, I would have thought we would be living like the Jetsons. Not quite there yet, but the technology seems to be getting closer. I think we’re all waiting to have a “Rosie” in every house. I know I am.
As the year comes to a close, I not only think about the things we did as a family (our trip to Disney World is huge in my mind this year), I also reflect on how things have changed with my site, what I liked about last year and what I want to change for the new year. Looking through pictures of the food bring back memories for me, the same way looking at pictures of children and kids brings back memories for everyone else. I guess that’s because for the past 6+ years, this site has been my baby. We’ve gone through a lot of growing pains together, and just like a parent with a child, learning along the way. Although you can now buy books on how to blog, there is no manual on how to run YOUR site, telling you exactly what to do when. No rights or wrongs. Instead, I get to have the freedom to tweak things along the way, changing them to suit my life and hopefully yours. I can’t wait to see what 2015 will bring!

Thank you Jeanine, for all you’ve done for many gluten-“troubled” people and those of us who cook for them – you’ve been a valuable resource and my “go-to” site in times of panic! Looking forward to more to come in 2015! Keep up the excellent work and Happy New Year!

I’d like to try each of these! 🙂 Seriously, I couldn’t pick a favorite from these. Dying to try those doughnuts, and the whipped shortbread looks like it would melt in my mouth! You had a delicious year!

Jeanine, I’m so thankful that I came across your site a few months ago. I was searching for the Holy Grail… I mean gluten free perogies and had the most amazing luck when I found your site. You have changed my families lives in a very delicious way. Your recipes are soooooo good that I no longer need to make a gluten free and wheat version of everything because your gluten free recipes taste so fantastic that no one can tell the difference. Many thanks and cheers to you and your family
