Do you can your own tomato soup or make it fresh when you need it? A GF source for tomato soup would be nice! I have been using a PC Blue Label prepared soup (in carton)lately, but it has herbs in it which don’t always go with the recipe I am using the soup in.
These meatballs look great, by the way!

Iris, I do can my own tomato soup in fall. I have been doing it for a few years, and this year, when I found out I can't have the good ole Campbells soup, I was happy to know I could still use my own. I haven't found a gf tomato soup yet, but I know that the Campbells tomato & basil is GF. But, for mushroom soup, No Name (from Superstore) Low Fat (Fat Free?) cream of mushroom soup is GF, so that should open up a number of recipes as well. Why, oh why, does tomato soup need wheat in it, huh??

Oh boy – that was so many years ago… Ah, just did a quick search and found that the Campbell’s Cream of Tomato with Basil and Oregano is gf, and should be quite readily available too! http://www.campbellsoup.ca/en-ca/products/campbells-condensed/campbells-condensed-tomato-with-basil-and-oregano
